CAS President visits Peru

On the invitation of the Peruvian National Science and Technology Commission (CONCYTEC) and National University of Engineering (UNI) in Lima, CAS President LU Yongxiang paid an official visit to Peru.


    On the invitation of the Peruvian National Science and Technology Commission (CONCYTEC) and National University of Engineering (UNI) in Lima, CAS President LU Yongxiang paid an official visit to Peru.He held talks with CONCYTEC chairman and UNI president. They agreed that there is a good prosperity for collaborations between the two sides in the fields of mathematics, remote-sensing, biodiversity and disaster reduction. CAS Vice Secretary-general GUO Huadong and UNI President Roberto Morales signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation on behalf of the respective organizations. In addition, President Lu was invited to deliver a talk on China's future development.
